A laboratory report does not automatically represent an entire production lot or every future batch.
The FARE Labs reports themselves state that the reported results pertain only to the sample tested and not to the whole lot.

Therefore, the result should be understood as:

Understanding "ND" and "DL"
ND: Not Detected
ND means that the specified parameter was not detected under the conditions and detection capability stated in the relevant laboratory report.
It does not necessarily mean that the substance is absolutely absent.
For example, the Black Turmeric Curcumin report records ND and states a detection limit of 0.1% by weight.
DL: Detection Limit
DL refers to the detection limit applicable to the analytical method or test.
A result reported as ND should therefore be understood together with the relevant detection limit.
A result should always be interpreted together with its test method, unit and applicable detection limit.
Why Laboratory Testing Matters
Laboratory testing can provide objective analytical information about specified characteristics of a sample.
Depending on the test undertaken, this may include information about:
- Nutritional parameters
- Specific compounds
- Volatile compound profiles
- Fatty acid parameters
