View compareKnow Where It Comes From
At Vedamint, we believe that trust begins with knowing where a product comes from. Every Vedamint product begins with a documented agricultural origin and follows a carefully managed journey through cultivation, harvesting, processing, testing, and packaging.
Our traceability approach is designed to make this journey more visible, connecting the product in your hands with relevant information about its origin, batch and quality journey. For us, traceability is not simply a statement on a label.
QR-Based Product Traceability
We are building traceability into the Vedamint product journey through QR-enabled product information. By scanning the QR code on your product pack, customers can access relevant information associated with the product and, where supported by our traceability system, its specific batch.
Traceable to Its Agricultural Origin
Vedamint's traceability journey begins at the farm. Our turmeric is cultivated through our agricultural operations and farm relationships, with attention to soil health, responsible resource use, crop quality and careful harvesting.
For us, knowing the origin is more than simply naming a location. It is about maintaining a documented connection between the agricultural source and the product that ultimately reaches you.
Every Batch Has a Journey
A batch is more than a production number. It represents a specific stage in the product's journey. Depending on the product and the records maintained, the traceability record may include:
Information relating to the crop and its harvesting.
Details relating to cleaning, drying, slicing or grinding.
A unique batch or lot reference connecting the finished product with its production records.
Relevant laboratory information associated with the product or batch, where testing has been conducted.
Information relating to the finished product and its packaging.
This approach helps us maintain accountability and creates a stronger foundation for transparency.
Independent Laboratory Testing
We believe quality should be supported by evidence wherever appropriate.
Selected Vedamint products and batches undergo independent laboratory testing to provide objective information about their composition and quality.
Depending on the product and testing undertaken, laboratory analysis may cover relevant nutritional, compositional and safety parameters.
Where a laboratory report is available, it can be made accessible through the relevant product or traceability section of our website.
We do not want laboratory testing to be just a statement that says "tested."
Evidence Creates Confidence
We believe transparency should go beyond a statement on a label. A statement creates an expectation. That is why we work to make relevant information about the origin, batch, processing and testing journey of Vedamint products accessible to our customers.
Traceability Is Not a One-Time Exercise
As Vedamint grows, we will continue strengthening our systems for recording, connecting and sharing relevant information across the agricultural and product journey. Our aim is simple: to make traceability increasingly useful, meaningful and accessible.
From Soil to You
At Vedamint, we look at quality as a journey rather than a single step.
Where the ingredient comes from.
How the crop is nurtured with attention to soil health and responsible farming practices.
Careful harvesting and handling of the crop.
Cleaning, drying, slicing or grinding using carefully controlled methods.
Relevant quality and laboratory information associated with the product or batch.
Hygienic packing, identification and batch recording.
The finished product reaches your home with its journey documented as far as our traceability system allows.
Traceability Is Connected to How We Farm
At Vedamint, our agricultural practices include:
Rainwater is retained within the farm, helping support groundwater recharge rather than allowing valuable water to flow outside the farm boundaries.
Crop residues and damaged produce are returned to the agricultural cycle wherever possible, while weeds are used as mulch to help conserve soil moisture and support biological activity in the soil.
Organic inputs and biological cultures are also used as part of our approach to maintaining soil health.
This reflects our understanding of circular and regenerative farming, working with natural cycles rather than treating the farm as a one-way production system.
Know the Origin. Understand the Journey. Verify What Matters.
At Vedamint, we are building a clearer connection between farm, product, and consumer. From soil to you, every step matters.
